Three posts back, I documented madness: I noted that the number of measles cases is greater in the Province of Alberta than in the entire US of A, cases that could have been prevented by vaccine. …And this fine (October 3) morning a baby here, having contracted measles in utero, died shortly after birth.
Before I disclose my angry comment, let me say that blogger Penelope Trunk forgave me. (If only adults weren’t March-hare-crazy over getting autism from needles)
As it happens, she wrote a big piece on autism, complete with 31, count ‘em, 31 links, and I responded to her righteous post by quoting only two of her minor points.
Then she said:
I appreciate your anger. Conflict and text: my two favorite things.
After I had said:
“He is invested in the test.” Yes, the very first, and only, guy who linked autism to vaccines, with a sample of only 12 children, lied because he wanted to sell kits. Scientists all around the world have been unable to replicate his results, but the sort of people who believe in social media and conspiracy theories are still spouting his nonsense from back in the 20th century. Such innocent folks also believe that there was a welfare queen in a fur coat driving a fancy car to pick up her welfare cheques, and that Roe Versus Wade espoused abortions at eight months.
A computer salesman taught his children a three-question-response to such things—including “the election was stolen.”
Who said so? Who’s he? How does he know?
Penelope, your opening line, “…is a distraction.” Yes, in fact, as of September, everything from rich officials is a distraction to keep the public from saying, “Release the Epstein files.”
Please forgive me for not responding to the important parts of your article. I hope someone else does.
I’m just too angry right now. …I guess today we both have anger.

Historical note: I remember when a vaccine, I think for measles, was still so new that only the boys in my elementary school’s oldest grade got them, because, as our school principal said tactfully, the girls were already of an age to be possibly pregnant. Nowadays, I’m sure the vaccine, no longer new, would be given to both genders at an earlier age.
